PICS: This Irish Hotel Named Best In The World By Condé Nast

Darragh Berry

We might be a bit biased but we know we have some of the most stunning hotels in the world.

But, it is nice when someone of high regard recognises it too and that’s why when Condé Nast Traveler’s says something is ‘hot’, you can’t help but agree.

It has announced its Hot-List for 2018 and Adare Manor in Limerick is the only Irish hotel on the highly influential list.

The announcement is also highly-anticipated as it showcases the best in new hotel’s from around the world in 2018 with over 100 hotels.

Adare Manor fits the bill as it was re-opened in November following nearly a two-year refurbishment.

They said that:

“Adare is a delicious mix of old and new. It’s barely 30-minutes from Shannon Airport, making it one of the closest country manors you can reach on seasonal, nonstop flights from the U.S. (it’s an easy two hour drive from Dublin in winter).

While retaining an old-school, aristocratic vibe, Adare’s fanciful gargoyles, genuinely warm staff, grand and intimate spaces, and super-comfortable rooms make it somewhere uniquely and unabashedly the Ireland of now.”

It follows in the footsteps of one of Ireland’s most beautiful hotels which was added to Condé Nast Traveler’s list of destinations to stay in 2018 also.

The Irish takeover has begun, you have been warned.

You can find more information on Adare Manor on the list here and you can also see the Hot-List in full here.
