What is the most relaxing type of setting in which to take a long walk: on grassy country paths or along the coast?
Answer: somewhere that has both — like the Ballycotton Cliff Walk.
Less than 60 minutes driving from Cork’s city centre, this is an easy walk on level ground which begins in Ballycotton village and finishes up in Ballyandreen beach.
It’ll take you about two hours to walk this five-mile route, with lush meadows on one side and dramatic coastline on the other, but here’s why you’ll wish it was even longer…
The views are simply sensational
You get to stumble upon the secluded Ballytrasna beach
Four-legged friends will adore it
And if anybody knows a thing or two about a good walk, it’s those guys.
Wanna give it a try?
