Kinsale’s Charming Streets And Cosy Cafés Make It Ideal For A Winter Staycation

James Fenton

When you think of Kinsale, it’s easy to think of bright, bustling streets filled with visitors from home and abroad on their summer breaks.

While the coastal Cork town has a justified reputation as one of Ireland’s most scenic locations when the sun is out, there’s a lot to be said for packing your bag full of woolies and heading down for a winter break.

The damp and dull weather which is synonymous with winter in Ireland is brightened up as soon as you start to stroll down the narrow, colourful streets of Kinsale.

The streets are lined with some of the cosiest cafés in Ireland..

Like, one is even called the ‘Cosy Café’…
