This was inevitable for Coqbull.
To celebrate its fifth birthday, Coqbull announced that they would be putting on an incredible offer for their loyal customers.
On Tuesday, all mains in the popular Cork restaurant were priced at just €5 and, unsurprisingly, people flocked to avail of the offer.
Queues were literally out the door as customers waited on French Church Street for a table, prompting the restaurant to remind folks that they were unable to take bookings.
“Apologies to the hundreds who left voice messages on our landline but we are not taking bookings today,” they tweeted.
The throng of hungry customers continued into the night on what has been a memorable week for Coqbull.

On Monday, Coqbull was named the best restaurant in Munster at the 2019 Food Awards Ireland awards ceremony.
For anyone who hasn’t tried their famous burgers, get yourselves down to Coqbull ASAP but, unfortunately, you’ll have to pay more than a fiver.
