You probably take your passport for granted, but new research published this week shows that having an Irish one is incredibly powerful when it comes to world travel.
The survey ranks global passports in terms of 'travel freedom'. The Germans top the list with their passport able to get them into 177 out of 218 countries without any sort of visa.
The Visa Restriction index is a great guide to where citizens of every nation are welcome, and it's ranked Ireland as number 6 on the list of powerful passports. Not too shabby.
The index also revealed the world's least powerful passports, which are Somalia, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
