So you've done all the sites - Big Ben, The London Eye, Westminster Abbey. Why not make your next trip to London a fabulous foodie and vintage adventure by exploring the incredible markets the capital city has to offer?

I visit London every summer and each year I make it my mission to go to another market.

My day trip to the markets typically consists of me filling myself up with more food than I would consume in a week, finding adorable little trinkets for my room and searching for some new outfits.

If this sounds like something you'd be into, let's be best mates and do an annual trip?

Here's some of my favourite places to visit:

1. The Borough Market

The Borough Market was my most recent visit and I've legit had a tear nearly every day since because I'm not there again.

No matter what you're into - Sushi, pasta, paella or grilled cheese, The Borough Markets has got you.

The food sold here is of the best quality so it can be a little pricey but if you're a big foodie you really won't mind because it's all fricken' amazing.

The best way to do a food market is to go with a group of friends and to each get something different, that way you can try a bit of everything and find out what you really like.

My personal fave spots would be Kappacasein for cheese, Gujarati Rasoi for veggie and Indian lovers and La Tua Pasta for ravioli. (Seriously, their truffle pockets will change yo' life)

2. Greenwich Market

Greenwich is one of the most lovely areas to visit in the city and the markets are one of the main attractions.

There's everything from books, paintings and pastries on offer and you could literally spend the entire day wandering around looking at all of the stalls.

It's picture perfect.

3. Camden Market

Camden is hands down my fave spot in London.

There's a mix of shops old and new, vintage and completely out of the ordinary. They've got some deadly food stalls too to keep the hunger at bay while you shop. You can even munch by the river on a gorge like motor bike seat - Instabait much?

I've bought some of my fave outfits from the markets and they're usually reasonably priced. If you're looking for something unique and out of the ordinary, there's no better place than Camden.

4. Brick Lane Market

Vintage shops in every corner - Brick Lane is a dream come true.

Festival season is nigh so if you're looking to pick up a few cute bits this place is ideal.

5. Covent Garden

Covent Garden is the perfect mixture of old and new.

There's high street stores as well as dinky market stalls and there's always a load of amazing street performers. Top that all off with every kind of food option you could ever imagine and you're on to a winner my friend.

There's loads of gorge flower walls out there at the moment, ideal for an Instagram opportunity.

6. Portobello

Some of the prettiest and most colourful streets, Portobello Markets are a treat for the eye.

Such a great place to buy a special gift for someone you love.
