The multinational pub chain opened just under 10 months ago.

Brewdog, a multinational brewery and pub chain, set up a Cork chain last summer, which joined their branches in London and Dublin. They launched on Washington Street in Cork, officially opening in July 2022, but according to reports from Cork Beo and the Irish Examiner, the pub has closed after just under a year in business.

The pub was three floors, with two bars, and as many as 30 different craft beers on tap.

Their social media for the Cork branch has been deleted, and in a statement to Cork Beo, BrewDog UK confirmed the closure, saying that they hoped to reopen in the county once more in the future. The same article understands that staff were informed of the closure on the morning of the bank holiday Monday.

Lovin has reached out to BrewDog for comment on the sudden closure.
