We love to see national language being embraced!

Conradh na Gaeilge Cóbh is hosting a coffee morning, or a maidin caife, for Irish speakers on the 31st October. It's no secret that spoken Irish is rare nowadays, but it's so important to celebrate it whenever possible.

Their policy is: "Ag iarradh An Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn i measc an phobail" which translates to "Seeking to promote the Irish language in the community."

The coffee morning kicks off on Sunday at 12pm. The event takes place on the Cóbh promenade, right beside the Truly Scrumptious Van. And don't worry if your Irish is a little rusty like ours; they welcome all levels of Gaeilge.
