Here’s where to get your pumpkin in Cork this spooky season

Fiona Frawley

On the 30th and 31st of this month, Marina Market will be turning spooky.

It’s already one of our fave spots to head to if we find ourselves in the Real Capital of a weekend – every type of food stall you could imagine, vintage/craft stalls and delish speciality coffee from Guji, sure where else would you be going? But now they’re taking it up a notch, with a special weekend of Halloween events for the scary witches and ghouls among you.

Kicking things off with a pumpkin patch throughout Halloween weekend (essential for the autumnal insta content), Marina Market will also be holding a Halloween Parade with fancy dress prizes, face painting and scary story telling. Spooky festivities for all ages, basically!

Marina Market’s Pumpkin Patch and Halloween events will take place over Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of October, between the hours of 12 and 4pm. All that’s left for you to do is plan your costume and pumpkin design. Oh, and no harm thinking about what foodie delight you’ll treat yourself to while you’re there. Have a browse of our top picks from the food market HERE.

Alexa, play the Monster Mash. It’s time to get spooky!
