Regular customers of KC & Son & Sons have been waiting on this for quite some time.

While KC & Son & Sons, more frequently referred to as KC’s in Cork, has been forced to close its doors amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there may be a way for the staff to return to work and for customers to get their fix from the popular takeaway.

An intriguing photograph appeared on the Douglas takeaway’s official Instagram account on Friday evening which hinted that the ability to order online was coming soon.

Up to now, there was no way for customers to order their King Creoles or Bombays online and that meant that the queues outside KC’s would often stretch 100 yards down the road.

While there were no details attached to the post, the teasing “all will be revealed soon” caption has got fans of KC’s very excited.

“Prayers have been answered,” one wrote.

Another added: “I think I might cry.”

When initial Government measures regarding Covid-19 came into effect, KC’s announced that they were enforcing social distancing by only allowing eight people into the premises at a time but the takeaway was forced to close on March 16.

We eagerly await more information.
