If you go down to the woods today you’ll… find a pumpkin spiced latte

Fiona Frawley

Pretty sure that’s the reason Goldilocks and Little Red went in in the first place, tbh.

Now that the shift to crisper weather might finally be upon us, it’s time to start planning some autumnal activities. Something along the lines of a walk in the woods, wrapped up warm while rust-coloured leaves crunch underfoot. It’s the vibe we need. The only thing that could possibly enhance this kind of activity is a warm, sweet pumpkin spice latte. Good for the gram and for the soul.

If the forest walk and PSL combo sounds like your kinda thing, get organising your next trip to Curraghbinny Woods in Crosshaven, Cork. You’ll be able to enjoy a stunning woodland walk with sea views, plenty of local flora and fauna and amazing scenery, but most importantly you’ll be able to treat yourself to the hot drink of the moment at the end.

The Tasty Bean are open weekends in Curraghbinny Woods and are the perfect place for a post-hike treat. Pouring locally roasted Stone Valley Coffee and serving up tasty treats and toasties, they’re the type of place you’d be delighted to see after a fresh forest forage. Most importantly, they’re now serving pumpkin spicers hot and cold (for those of you who still enjoy iced coffee in the depths of winter. I know you’re out there).

The perfect weekend activity!
