We all know the glory of a pub crawl and now there is a beer mile.
Happening October 17 as part of Corktoberfest, there will be a number of pubs and bars partaking in the festivities.
Amongst the beers on offer will be Erdinger Octoberfest, Erdinger Dunkel Weiss, Fischer’s Hell, Krombacher Pilsner and Krombacher Kellerbier. I’d imagine very few pronounce them properly after a few steins.

Kicking off at 6 p.m. from Bradley’s Specialist Off Licence, the route will then move on to the Franciscan Well. Other haunts along the way include The Friary, Bierhaus and The Abbot’s Ale House.

Litre beer steins, spot prizes and even a few surprises. Best line the stomach beforehand if you want to finish the full mile.
