How happy are you that the drive thru coffee trend has taken off in Ireland?
It’s crazy to think simply not having to park your car could be the source of so much joy, but it just is. Sleeping baby in the car? Drive thru. Running late for work? Drive thru? Can’t parallel park? Drive. Thru. It just works for every scenario, and makes life easier.
Corkonian lovers of coffee and convenience will no doubt be buzzed to hear that Box’d Coffee Co have opened up a new branch in Ballincollig.

They’ve been set up in Carrigrohane for about a year now and have been absolutely killing the drive thru game. Pouring Soma speciality coffee and serving up a storm with treats from Yumm Kanturk, Applebee Cakes and Dough Gang, they’re a stunning addition to the Cork coffee scene. And the county’s four legged residents seem to think so too:

The Ballincollig branch of Box’d is open now and promises the same tasty selection of treats and consistently delish coffee, as well as the “same positive vibes”. And isn’t that just what you need on your morning commute? We’re looking forward to hitting them up next time we’re in the Rebel county.
