These Two Legends Have Just Won Ireland's First Ever Olympic Medal For Rowing

Skibbereen natives Gary and Paul O'Donovan did Ireland proud this afternoon after claiming the silver medal in the men’s lightweight double sculls.

Immediately after winning the first Olympic medal for Ireland in Rio so far, as well as the first ever Olympic medal for Ireland in rowing, the Cork brothers had an interview with RTÉ where they expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the people of Ireland and everyone who enjoyed their interviews so far.

So pullin' like a dog really does pay off.
