7 Monster Hangover Brunches For The Cure In Carrick-On-Shannon

James Fenton

Carrick-On-Shannon has long been established as the stag and hen capital of Ireland.

The nightlife is unreal, the people are great craic and pints do be flowing.

However, as is the nature of such trips away, nobody has a notion about where to go for the cure.

Help is at hand, as we’ve chosen the best seven spots for a dirty fry, a feck off sandwich or a simple drop of tea and a scone.

Be sure to share this on the WhatsApp group:

1. Crumbs Sandwich Bar

Located on Bridge Street, this quaint little joint is ideal for those who have just fallen out of bed after a night on the tiles. Make you own toastie, bagel or baguette from the extensive fillings on their menu and you’ll be well able for round 2.

2. Cryan’s Quay Side Hotel

Different menus for the bar and restaurant, be sure to sample the Sunday buffet lunch.

3. Lena’s Tea Room

Sure ya can’t bate a ‘tae’ and a ‘schone’ to cure the head, and these scones are among the best in the country.

Lenas

4. The Larder Café

Lovely little spot for a late breakfast and a sip of coffee.

5. The Boardwalk Café
