A Cyclist Has Died In A Crash In Kerry Following Collision With Tractor

A cyclist has died after her bike collided with a tractor in Killarney, County Kerry.

The woman, who was in her 40s, was cycling with a group when she was involved in a collision with a tractor on the N22 Killarney By-pass at the junction with Lewis Road at around 7pm yesterday.

According to RTÉ, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor was uninjured.

The road was closed for a time to facilitate a forensic examination but it has since reopened.
