A man has been pronounced dead following a car crash in County Mayo early this morning, Independent.ie reports.
The man was in his 60s. The incident was a single vehicle crash and happened in Ballinasmalla, Claremorris, County Mayo.
It’s believed to have happened at about 7am this morning. The man, who was driving, was the only person travelling in the car.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Claremorris Garda Station on 094 9372080, with a particularly interest in speaking to anyone who was in the area between 12.30am and 7am.
