18 homes in Dundalk were evacuated last night, following a pipe bomb scare.
The explosive device was found in front garden yesterday evening, according to the Irish Independent.
It’s believed that the army squad arrived at the scene late last night.
The area has been sealed off and the houses evacuated since last night.
According to 3News, the device was made safe this morning.
