Donegal actress lands role in upcoming Stranger Things season

Donegal actress Amybeth McNulty has joined the cast of Netflix mega-hit Stranger Things for its upcoming fourth season.

It’s fair to say that Stranger Things has been one of the most talked-about TV shows since it first landed on Netflix in 2016 and interest from Irish viewers is sure to shoot up with the casting of Amybeth McNulty.

McNulty will play ‘Vickie, a cool, fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes’. The Letterkenny native has previously appeared as the title role in Anne with an E, a Canadian series based on Anne of Green Gables.

She’s sure to fit right in to the Stranger Things world but with no release date confirmed for season four, we might still be waiting a while to see how Amybeth tackles the Upside Down. You can watch a sneak peek trailer via this link.
