Two People Stabbed In Early Morning Altercation

Two people – a man and a woman – have been stabbed during an altercation in County Donegal.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of the morning, left the two in their 20s with injuries, the Irish Independent reports. 

The man in his 20s was stabbed several times during the incident in Letterkenny.

The woman received stab wounds on her arms after trying to intervene.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being detained by Gardaí at Letterkenny Garda Station.
