PICS: Irish Gin Bar Is Hosting Two G&T Cruises In August For Just €30 a Pop

Darragh Berry

If you’re a gin lover and you haven’t been to the home of the best Irish Gin bar, then you my friend haven’t lived.

If you haven’t been handed ‘The Gin Bible’ and been absolutely overwhelmed by the choice on offer, you can stop pretending that you’re some sort of gin expert when you’re clearly a novice.

Tigh Nora are not only kings of the west, but kings of Ireland when it comes to gin and with over 200 gins to choose from their shelf, the hardest decision you’ll have to make is seeing which one is tastier.

In fact, they love gin so much that they’ve launched not one, but two G&T cruises for the end of August.

Event details:

“Back by popular demand.. The Tigh Nora Gin Cruise sets sail for the last time this summer on Thursday 23rd August and all lovers of gin are invited!

“And the cruise really is a must for all G&T drinkers. All passengers will meet for a nautical themed G&T reception in Tigh Nora, before embarking on an exclusive Corrib Princess boat trip hosted by Fiachra, the Tigh Nora gin expert.

“On board, you’ll take part in an immersive tasting, crafting and blending experience unlike any other. The focus of the cruise is more tasting than taking notes, as guests channel their inner gin distiller to sample a range of gins and tonics, finding the perfect pairings.

“Food and drinks will be served on board. There will also be music, giveaways, games and lots of GINuine fun! You’ll also receive a gin & tonic swag bag as a keepsake from the cruise.

“Two sailings will take place, meeting in Tigh Nora at 6.15pm or 8.15pm on Thursday 23rd August. Time of preferred sailing to be booked in advance.”

“Pre booking is essential with further updates are available by following ‘Tigh Nora Galway’ on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.”

The tickets are €33 and can be found on Eventbrite here.
