Want us to let you in on a little secret?

Taaffes at the bottom of Shop Street in Galway does one of the best and creamiest pints of Guinness that you will find in this blessed country.

Its outside area is a notorious people-watching spot where you can take in the sights and sounds of the city while on the inside, you will be treated to the finest trad music west of the Shannon.

If you’re a GAA fan, you’re in for a treat too because not only is the wall stacked with memorabilia from days gone by, a current GAA star could be pulling your pint behind the bar, Galway talisman Damien Comer.

They’ve just received their order ahead of race week which start on the 30 July and runs right through until Sunday 5 August and of my, they are ready for action…

Will all of these be drank? Absolutely. The real question though is, is someone tackling into those cartons of milk or are they up for grabs.
