Movie Mondays are something we can get on board with.
In keeping with the theme of this month – Pixar month – Electric Arcade is screening the fan favourite Finding Nemo.
Never seen it? I’m appalled…but here’s a plot summary for you (don’t worry, no spoilers):
“It’s about a man whose wife is brutally murdered by a serial killer and his son is left physically disabled. In a twisted turn of events, his son is kidnapped, and he has to chase the kidnapper for thousands of miles with the help of a mentally disabled woman”.

Sounds horrendously grim, but Finding Nemo is much more light-hearted than that I promise.
Housed in Galway’s resident arcade bar, Electric Arcade is also home to loads of retro games and according to their website “one mother of a dance machine”. So, plenty of fodder there for post-movie fun.

Things kick off at 8pm and there is food, drink and popcorn all available there too. For what is a movie without snacks?!
