The Waterford Greenway is one of Ireland’s favourite cycle tracks, with incredible views and lush greenery around every corner.

A definite highlight along the way is the Kilmacthomas Viaduct, an impressive 7 arch stone bridge which you can climb up and enjoy the view from the top of. After this type of undertaking, you’ll definitely deserve a coffee and maybe a treat or two. This is where Signal Box comes in.

Ideally located right by the Viaduct, Signal Box Coffee is the perfect place to stop off at and enjoy the views over a hot bev of your choice. They’ve also got you well and truly covered in the treat department.

Sustainable kings and queens will be happy to know they also use edible coffee cups (a recent trend we’re obsessed with). If you’ve cycled the Greenway, you know it can be tough to pack everything you need, never mind trying to find space in your bag for your reusable coffee cup. Luckily signal box have you sorted, order your coffee in one of the edible cups and not only is there no waste, you get to enjoy a tasty snack. It’s win win.

Bringing your pupper along for the adventure? They’ll love this spot too, with their own dedicated dog cafe to sit back with a puppacino at.

We love that so many Irish businesses are becoming more and more dog friendly, and this little cafe is one of the most adorable examples we’ve seen.

The guys at Signal Box are open 7 days a week, and definitely worth hitting up if you’re planning on doing the Greenway!
