Great news for recent graduates, as Irish food group Dawn Farms has announced its plans to create 150 new jobs over the next five years at its meat science and innovation centre in Naas, Co Kildare.
Dawn Farms supplies cooked and fermented meat ingredients for sandwiches, pizzas, and ready-meals to international food service chains and food manufacturers.
The company recently signed a €850 million supply deal with fast food chain Subway, and as reported by RTE, has said it would invest €25 million on enhancing its Naas research and development hub.
The available jobs will be at graduate level, with opportunities for more highly qualified food scientists, meat technologists, and those with culinary expertise.
Dawn Farm Foods currently employs 1,000 people between Ireland and the UK, with the majority of those jobs in Ireland.
The jobs will up employment figures at the company's Naas headquarters, where it has been based for 32 years, to 780 people by 2022.
