The ‘Parent And Baby’ Screenings In This Cinema In Louth Are So Strange

Sarah

When we think of the kind of movies that parents watch with their babies, we usually picture happy, lighthearted kind of flicks, right? Cartoons, perhaps?

Movies that won’t somehow permeate the early human’s sub-conscience and leave them even more mentally scarred then they are destined to be under our guidance.

Movies where people won’t mind getting interrupted by crying, or toddlers asking “what’s that, mama?”

Well, it seems as though the Arc Cinema in Drogheda, Co. Louth doesn’t quite share the same views as us, if their latest listings for their ‘Parent and Baby’ screenings are anything to go by.

They’re showing such “all-age” delights as Trainspotting T2, which if the plot is at all like the first is 100% inappropriate for an infant to even glance at (we all know the scene we mean).

They’re also showing one which is such an unusual choice you just have to laugh: Fifty Shades Darker. Because watching soft-bondage in a dark room with your newborn isn’t strange at all.

We think we’d rather wait to see these films when we’ve offloaded the kinder to the babysitter.
