Man Arrested After Girl (7) Seriously Injured In A Three-Car Collision

A man has been arrested after a girl (7) was seriously injured in a three-car collision outside Portarlington in Co. Laois. 

According to the Irish Independent, the girl was traveling with her mother and four-year-old sister. 

The man, who is in his 20s, had been driving one of the other vehicles. He is currently being held at Portlaoise Garda Station.

The incident occurred at Bracknagh, two kilometres outside Portarlington. The woman and her two daughters were brought to Tullamore Hospital.
