We’re pretty impressed with people already posting pictures from the top of Croagh Patrick this morning on today’s Reek Sunday pilgrimage.
Fair play, lads.
Reek Sunday takes place once a year, on the last Sunday in July. People trek to the top of Croagh Patrick to go to mass in the tiny church at the top – which only opens for mass this one day a year.

Pilgrims are being advised not to climb barefoot this year by the Order of Malta out of safety concerns. So, take care out there.
