Sandycove Store and Yard open second location in Wicklow

A new spot for coffee, toasties and soft serve ice cream in the sun.

For the last couple of summers, Sandycove Store and Yard has earned its stripes as a popular seaside hangout spot with everything from pizza to plant shopping on offer. Located on Sandycove Road just minutes away from the beach and Forty Foot, it’s the ideal place to go to satisfy that overwhelming hunger you specifically get after a swim in the sea.

And if you’re more of a forest-dweller than a beach goer, you’re in luck as Store and Yard have only gone and opened a second location, this time at the foot of the Sugarloaf at Belmont Demense.

Reward yourself after a forest walk with a wood-fired pizza (we’ve personally got our eyes on the Full Irish complete with sausage, bacon, pudding and egg topping), a toastie or a good ol’ fashioned 99, while soaking up the dreamy mountain views.

If you haven’t been to Belmont Demense yet, it’s well worth paying a visit to. Bike rental, walking trails and no shortage of tasty food options, it’s the perfect place to spend a sunny day. And as every Irish person knows, we don’t get too many of those – so make the most of this balmy bout and get out there!
