This Sligo Café Is Every Vegan’s Dream

Sligo is quickly gaining traction with foodies as the place to be, and for good reason it seems.

The restaurant scene is thriving down in Yeats County, with options to suit every palate and dietary requirement. One of my favourites? The Gallery Café on Grattan Street.

Run by Laura, who learned all her cooking and baking skills from her granny, you can feel her genuine passion for food a mile off. Sweet, savoury, vegetarian, gluten free…you name it, they more than likely have it.

Known for their Triple Certified Organic coffee, it’s the vegan full-Irish that I’ll be pairing a cup of the good stuff with. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

Centrally located, reasonably priced, friendly staff. What more could ya want?

Perfect for a post-swim feed, if you’re brave enough.
