Bad news for anyone wanting to buy in Kilkenny.
The county has been revealed as the one with the biggest increase in house prices in Ireland since December 2016.
The average price of a house in Kilkenny has increased by 10.6% to €182,500 for a three-bed semi.
Next on the list was Offaly with 6.9% while Laois and Roscommon saw no increase in house prices since the turn of the year.
