Forrest Gump is definitely one of our favourites so we can only imagine how awesome it’ll be in an open-air setting.
Thankfully, Happenings have answered all our prayers and are holding an outdoor screening of this classic in The People’s Park in Limerick on Saturday night.
In case you’ve never seen it (shame on you!), the film tells the story of the loveable but slow-witting Forrest Gump, played by Tom Hanks, and follows his perspective of some of the 20th century’s defining historical events such as JFK, Vietnam and Watergate.

You can get your hands on tickets over on www.happenings.ie or on the gate for just a fiver.
The gates open at 8pm and they advise you to get down there early if ya want good seats!
