This Thrilling Activity Weekend In Kerry Looks Ideal For A Group Getaway

James Fenton

It might be too later to organise this for the Easter weekend but this should definitely be added to the summer to-do list.

The Rose Hotel in Tralee are offering a great coasteering package that looks perfect for a stag, hen or just an excuse to get away for a few days.

If you’re not sure what coasteering is, it involves a mixture of swimming, rock climbing and diving into the sea from heights which are sure get your nerves jangling and the adrenaline pumping.

To get more of an idea, check out the video below:

The adventure starts in Dott’s Bar at the hotel where you can sip a few settlers to get you ready for the next day’s activities.

After a good night’s sleep, you’ll be given a hearty breakfast to get you ready for a day of scrambling over rocks, swimming through sea arches, jumping off cliffs and much much more.

Once that’s all done and you’re all suitably soaked and terrified, it’ll be time to relax at The Park Restaurant before embarking on a night on the Tralee tiles.

On the last day, you’ll explore the exquisite scenery on the doorstep of the Rose Hotel including local Blue Flag beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way and the Ring of Kerry. Or, if you’d prefer, simply sit back and relax with Sunday lunch in The Park Restaurant.

The whole package only costs €206 per person and with breakfast each morning and dinner on the night of your choice it seems like a great deal to us.

The only catch is a minimum six people are needed in order to make a group booking. Our advice would be to share this link with your Whatsapp group and get the planning underway!

Happy adventuring.
