This GAA Twitter Account Posted The Most Rural Ireland Tweet Ever Yesterday

Sometimes in life your responsibilities are going to conflict and you just have to make a judgement call — like the guy tweeting from this Fermanagh GAA Twitter account.

When the Senior Football League Division 1 Final was taking place between Devenish and Ederney last night, followers of Fermanagh GAA were (presumably) dismayed to see that no live tweeting had taken place for the match’s first 23 minutes.

However, it appears that the tweeter on duty for the game was unavoidably detained by agricultural duties. He didn’t try to sugarcoat it for his audience, he didn’t make any excuses, he just told it like it is…

We applaud that honestly, Fermanagh GAA.
