If you were watching the news on RTÉ One yesterday, you might’ve spotted this news report about a post office robbery in Kilkenny.
A man in his twenties was arrested yesterday after stealing €5,000 from a Mullinavat post office with what looked like a gun (but turned out to be a fake).
Local man Billy Walsh entered the post office just after the robbery, realised what had just happened and called for help on the street from two others to take down the thief, who was sauntering away from the scene of the crime.
But it’s how the heroes tell the story that’s priceless.
