Have you heard the one about the nun and the Garda having a game of keepy-uppy on the street? No, we haven’t either.
That’s exactly what happened though on Glentworth Street in Limerick yesterday. Garda O’Connell and one of the Dominican Sisters took a break from the Our Lady of Triduum Festival to see who could achieve more volleys than the other.
It’s not yet confirmed whether they discussed the laws of the game. Perhaps the nun was working on her crosses?
