WATCH: Dangers Of Cycling On Irish Roads Highlighted By This Shocking Footage

The issue of cycling on Irish roads has come to the forefront in the first half of 2017. With 10 cyclists killed on our roads so far this year (the same amount as the whole of 2016), it’s a real talking point among all users of the road. 

A video has emerged of an incident in Waterford which happened just over a week ago and has appeared on the Irish Mirror website. 

In it, the cyclist is ambling along the bike lane before the passenger of a car opens the door and knocks him off the bike and onto the road. 

Luckily, nobody was seriously injured in the incident but it really could have been a whole lot worse.
