This is a waterfall you need to go chasing...
One of the best things about the Irish countryside is that Google Maps will not help you find its beauty, it happens completely by chance. You have to go down windy roads, through valleys and over hilltops that have no signs or paths marked out for you.
I'm a sucker for discovering the hidden secrets of the Emerald Isle and the places that aren't swarmed by tourists.
Recently, while scrolling through Instagram, I came across a secret waterfall that is hidden in the Slieve League mountains of Donegal.
This waterfall is almost impossible to find with only a handful of people being successful.
This truly is one of Ireland's best-kept secrets:
To get to this magical site you need to cross farms, climb cliffs and swim before reaching it.
Many people have tried to do so and have spent hours in the hills before giving up.

There has even been quite a few vlogs and videos surrounding it on YouTube and it looks absolutely incredible.
I've never wanted to find something more...
One YouTuber claimed he took several hikes around the area before he could find it:
This should be #1 on every explorer's bucket list for 2019.
