Seven days ago Netflix released the first season of a show called Stranger Things, and our lives haven’t been the same since.

Set in a small Indiana town in 1983, Stranger Things is a science fiction show starring award-winning actress Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers. When Joyce’s 12-year-old son, Will, goes missing, she launches an investigation into his disappearance with local authorities. And as they search for answers, they make a series of pretty freaky discoveries.

There are only eight, 50(ish)-minute episodes so it’s totally worthy of a weekend binge-watch, but don’t just take our word for it…
