7 Netflix Picks That Will Lift Your Spirits

Have you already spent ALL of your wages on Christmas presents?

Here are some great Netflix choices for when you’re feeling just little bit crappier than usual. . 

1. Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging 

It may be old, and made for teenagers, but it never fails to make me laugh out loud. 

Fool-proof Saturday night watching. 

2. Love, Rosie 

Written by Irish lass, Cecilia Ahern, this one is kinda sad – but the ending will ultimately leave you over-joyed. 

I never understood why they set it in England, instead of our own lovely country, but it’s a brill film nonetheless. 

3. 22 Jump Street 

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill return for the sequel to 21 Jump Street, this time the partners are pretending to be college students in order to find a dangerous new drug. 

Expect more explosions, more Ice T, and more bromance.

4. They Came Together 

If the thought of a romantic comedy puts you right off, this is its antithesis. 

They Came Together is a spoof of the whole genre starring Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler, taking the piss out of flicks like You’ve Got Mail, How Harry Met Sally, Along Came Polly, and pretty much every romantic comedy ever. But unlike most spoofs these days (e.g. Epic Movie), this is actually good.
