Broadway musical Hamilton will premiere on Disney+ next month alongside a brand new behind-the-scenes documentary.
One of the most popular Broadway musicals of recent years, a live capture recording of the hit show is due to premiere on Disney+ early next month… along with a brand new Hamilton documentary. Giving fans the chance to be in the room where it happened (so to speak), the documentary will reunite original cast members to discuss all things relating to the show.
Hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Kelly Carter, Hamilton In-Depth will take the form of a virtual roundtable with appearances from director Thomas Kail, show creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and cast members Daveed Diggs, Leslie Odom Jr., Christoper Jackson, Phillip Soo and Renée Elise Goldsberry amongst others.
Streaming exclusively on Disney+, it will premiere alongside the filmed production of the show on July 3rd.
Irish Hamilton fans will also have the chance to log on to a private pre-watch party with some of the original cast thanks to a virtual event hosted by BOOM Masterclass. Read more on that here.
