A number of live outdoor gigs have been announced for Killarney

Lynda Keogh

We’ve all missed festivals and live gigs; there’s nothing like the a bit of music, a boogie and (hopefully) a bit of sun!

Throughout the month of August, the INEC in Killarney will be hosting a number of “Inside Out” gigs. These gigs open air live gigs will kick off on the 1st of August, with tickets going on sale today! A number of amazing Irish artists will take to the stage from Damien Dempsey and Paddy Casey to Lyra and Saint Sister.

A huge outdoor stage has been specially constructed on the grounds adjacent to the Gleneagle INEC Arena. Attendees will be able to book a ‘pod’ of six and in line with government guidelines tickets to these gigs will be limited to 200. How slick would it be to have a pod full of your pals listening to top quality music from some of our fave Irish artists?!

Mark Egan, Director of Gleneagle INEC Arena said: “We’ve had to really think outside the box in order to make a safe return to live music performance and help get our colleagues in the live entertainment sector back to work. These gigs would not be financially viable under normal circumstances, but thanks to the Live Performance Support Scheme we know have twenty live acts lined up to play to intimate audiences of just 200 people per gig.”

You can learn more about the gigs and how to book right here.
