Last Autumn, TV3 audiences enjoyed the return to Irish screens of fly-on-the-wall show Livin’ With Lucy, hosted by Lucy Kennedy.
The much-liked presenter spent time living in the homes of well known famous faces Shane Long, Al Porter, Kerry Katona and Jedward. It was all good, clean fun as viewers got an insight into the lives of these celebs and generally the participants came off as decent, hard-working, family people.
That said, there are some faces who people just don’t want to see on the telly. In the build-up to the 2017 series of the show, Lucy took to Twitter yesterday to share a snap of mush-reviled media columnist (or something) Katie Hopkins who will feature in an upcoming episode of Livin’ With Lucy.
It’s fair to say the pic hasn’t gone down well and someone has even started a petition in a bid to get TV3 not to air the episode. The campaign has over 100 signatures at the time of writing and a number of people have taken to Twitter to give Lucy a piece of their mind.
Just 4 statements this vile Cretan has made about women & babies, never mind her remarks on Syria pic.twitter.com/r5nCx3HTWj

It’s 1 (unforgivable) thing to give her airtime. It’s a whole other (unforgivable) thing to pose smiling with her for likes. So disappointing

Unless Lucy here headbutts Katie Hopkins to death, I don’t want to know. https://t.co/HfBA0FDoVn
