The weekend is upon us and as any sports fan will know, that means hours of sitting in front of the telly watching your favourite sporting action.
This week’s sports chat has been dominated by talk of a European Super League that threatened to shake global football to its core. However, the idea didn’t last long as fans joined forces to fight a bunch of billionaires from stealing their game.
Now all of that’s out of the way (for now), English fans can focus on the Premier League run-in and the League Cup Final while here in Ireland, the SSE Airtricity League gathers pace. Meanwhile, there’s the Women’s Six Nations, NBA action and plenty of rugby thrown in for good measure.
