Arguably The Biggest Hero From Ireland’s Win Over New Zealand Will Be On The Late Late Tomorrow

James Fenton

We’re only just catching our breath after last Saturday’s epic win over New Zealand and already we’re being presented with an opportunity to relive the memories of a glorious night at the Aviva.

While the victory was clearly a huge team effort, it’s Peter O’Mahony’s name which has cropped up again and again in the analysis. The Munster man didn’t leave an ounce on the field and even risked aggravating an injury such was the passion displayed in his post-match celebration.

Tomorrow night, Ryan Tubridy will be the envy of every Irish rugby fan as he gets up close and personal with the 29-year-old when he appears on The Late Late Show. Peter will be giving his own view on the events of last weekend as well looking ahead to next year’s World Cup in Japan.

The show will also see Boyzone return to the scene of their infamous 1993 TV appearance while Professor Brian Cox and impressionist Mario Rosenstock will also be dropping in.

Finally, entrants for Carer Of The Year will be discussing their stories with Ryan in the last episode before this year’s Toy Show.

The Late Late Show gets underway on Friday on RTÉ One at 9.35pm
