Choosing to team up with Global Citizen a movement of engaged citizens aiming to use their collective voice to end extreme poverty by 2030, the first episode features the legendary Annie Lennox.
Together they talk everything from Lennox’s family history of activism to her founding of NGO, The Circle, to Eurythmics’ contribution to Rock Against Racism.
Upcoming guests include Bono, Marcus Mumford and Mavis Staples, whose vocals you may recognise from the track Nina Cried Power on which she sang alongside Hozier.
According to Global Citizen co-founder Simon Moss, the venture is an exciting new way to “spark conversation around the Global Goals for Sustainable Development”.
Hozier is busy touring Europe at the moment and will play the 3Arena on December 10.
