Clear Your Calendar! Young Professionals Forum Kicks Off Next Tuesday in Silicon Docklands Dublin

Aisling Hannon got in touch with me the other day to give me some info on a very interesting event she’s involved in thats on in Dublin next week. The Young Professionals Forum is an networking event that is aiming to promote and establish a platform for the young guns in Dublin to network and engage with other like minded people as to build and develop future career relationships. As my mum said, don’t burn bridges when you’re young, you never know who you’ll end up working with in the future!

This event is themed on young tech professionals, guys and girls who are running their own companies and will share their stories of success and failure. The Committee have a vision to improve the relationships between tech industry in Ireland which is underrepresented yet are a huge part of Irelands future. The event is run in association with
Mason Hayes & Curran and will take place in their offices in the Silicon Docklands on Barrow Street, Ringsend on December 9th which is Tuesday coming from 6.30pm (RSVP here).

They’ve a super line-up of inspiring tech speakers to include
Richie Whelan, CEO of Popdeem, Garrett Fitzgerald, Owner of Brother Hubbard and fresh from the Websummit and winner of the Spark of Genius Award, Emer O’Daly and her Co-Founders from Love & Robots. They’ll be sharing their stories, answering questions and offering a great networking opportunity.

Aisling had this to say about the free event:

The committee really just want to create an opportunity to showcase some of Irelands newest entrepreneurial talent in front of the people who will help their businesses grow. There are great potential cultural exchanges that can happen, from the professional services world to the tech world and vice versa, huge opportunities to learn. All in all we’re aiming to create an interesting and fun evening, with a bitta craic and an exchange of ideas that ensure that people will make great connections and look forward until the next event.
