Disney are currently working on their latest movie set for release in 2019 and are on the look out for the main star.

Ideally, they're looking for an Irish star so if you know someone, you need to consider going for this.

Artemis Fowl is based on the best-selling series of novels by Wexford author, Eoin Colfer and Disney are making it into a movie.

The story involves around Artemis himself, a 12 year old boy who plans to take gold from the 'Fairy People'. But as you can imagine, things do not go as planned and it leaves Artemis in trouble with some dangerous creatures.

It sounds exciting!

Disney are on the look out for someone to play Artemis and are coming to Ireland in search of a talented young boy.

They are looking for boys between the ages of 9 - 13 who are under 5ft 3ins and who have or can do an Irish accent. And best yet, previous acting experience isn't necessary.

They are holding auditions across Ireland at the end of this month and in October.

They will be in Galway on September 29 and 30, Dublin on October 1 and Cork on October 14.

If you know someone who would be the perfect fit, all you have to do is send a recent photo, your age and height to: emily.brockmann@disneympp.com by Monday 18.

So you need to be quick if your child or someone you know could become the next big Disney star.
