Regularly spotted down these parts, Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have been known to stop into their idyllic holiday home in Kilcar from time to time.
A very vocal advocate for all the Emerald Isle has to offer, locals went wild last year when the Hollywood starlet was spotted tipping about Dublin. However, with international travel looking unlikely anytime soon, current circumstances mean that it’s been quite a while since the Sex and the City star was last here.
Clearly missing her second Irish home, the actress shared a number of photos on social media – with one set to the backdrop of the Wild Atlantic Way. A tribute to her son James on his 18th birthday, SJP accompanied the snaps with a lovely heartfelt message to her “first time voter”.

Proving that little passes them by, several eagle-eyed fans correctly identified the Donegal coastline in the photos, with Parker responding to one admirer’s comment and writing:
“It’s always making an appearance in our memories! Donegal, much missed! X”
Enjoying many a family holiday over the years, it’s clear that Donegal still holds a special place in her heart.
