This Majorly Famous Irish Celeb Is Set To Join Cast Of Derry Girls For Season Two

Darragh Berry

If you haven’t seen Derry Girls yet, then ‘CATCH YOURSELF ON’ there now and get invested in it before the first series draws to a close.

If you want to have a quick synopsis of what the show is about, you’ll want to have a read of this too.

The Channel 4 sitcom has taken the whole country by storm and was issued a second series after only ONE episode was aired.

Great things are expected of the second series and it’s going to be EVEN BIGGER if this notoriously famous Irish musician is added to the mix.

(We’re sorry about all the CAP LOCKS).

According to The Irish Sun, Girls Aloud and, almost-was-don’t-know-if-it-counts, Six singer, Nadine Coyle is itching to be a part of the next series.

The 32-year-old said: “Yes I’m going to speak to the writer about that.

“I’m going to call Lisa today actually, we’re sorting something out for the next series.”

“It’s based on the same school I went to, the same Catholic school, so we have loads of similar experiences.

“I loved the first series so I’d love to do something for the second.”

Nadine Coyle Tk Maxx

Nadine was over in Dublin to launch the TK Maxx Give Up Clothes For Good campaign in aid of Enable Ireland and a whole discussion about Derry Girls stemmed from an interview Nadine did on the day.

This year’s Give Up Clothes for Good campaign in support of Enable Ireland encourages people to donate clothes, accessories and homeware to raise vital funds for children’s disability services across the country.

Watch. This. Space.
